Located in the heart of the Fulton Market district stands an exciting new building that adds its own unique look to the culture of this area.
Vequity, the developer, was inspired by local architecture. By incorporating Morin waterstruck brick and historic-style windows from Quaker, the building blends into the rich built history of the Fulton Market area. Bricks Incorporated and its sister company, Fenestration Solutions Inc, became a one-stop shop for the building’s masonry and window needs.
Morin black select waterstruck brick in Modular and Norman sizes appear on the front and side facades. Interstate thin brick in Ironstone and Black Opal colors make up the back and upper floors. The folding door systems on the first floor are manufactured by LaCantina, allowing the majority of the front and side facades to completely open up.
For the second, third, and fourth floor windows, Vequity chose historical series windows (H600) manufactured by Quaker. With its completion in 2020, 1001 W Fulton Market has become another great new building in this ever-growing area.
