We absolutely love a divided light window — whether it’s a “true divided light,” where the mullions separate small, individual panes of glass, or a “simulated divided light,” where one pane of glass is embellished with faux mullions to replicate the real thing — the finished product beautifully recalls the aesthetic of a time gone by.
Several years ago, we provided these awesome custom LaCantina Doors and double hung JELD-WEN windows to beloved Lincoln Square restaurant The Warbler. Inspired by the look of “dappled sunlight through treetops,” designer Leah Ogden turned to divided lights to achieve the desired effect. From the traditional windows on the front façade, to the contemporary swing door and sliding doors leading out to the eatery’s patio, we ensured that the fenestration from both manufacturers matched perfectly.
