This handsome structure, which opened in 2017, pairs Summit Brick‘s “Concorde” blend with a Brazilian hardwood that has weathered into a similar shade.
By breaking the massing of the commercial building into three parts, and mixing materials on the exterior façade, the 25,000 square foot facility has a smaller visual impact more aligned with its residential, neighborhood setting. We can’t help but love the way the softly tumbled edges of these variegated, slurry-coated bricks compliment the sharp lines of the angled roofline and soaring clerestory windows.
