Talk about a very satisfying before-and-after! Back in 2016, we helped transform the fenestration along the eastern side of Dos Urban Cantina in Logan Square. Three fixed windows opposite the bustling bar were replaced by three sets of bifolding LaCantina Doors, allowing the cozy taqueria to invite summer breezes into their dining area. On the other side of the wall, the #restaurant’s sidewalk cafe benefits from the new folding windows too — the openings help the patio area feel more connected to and integrated with the #nterior space.
Unfortunately, summer doesn’t last forever… which is why these thermally-controlled aluminum systems are great! Come wintertime, they close tight to keep Chicago’s harsh winter weather outside, meaning diners around the perimeter of the room stay toasty warm. It really goes to show that something as simple as a window replacement can totally overhaul the everyday experience of our homes & businesses!
