Goose Island is a Chicago institution, and a huge part of our city’s craft beer legacy! We were delighted to provide reclaimed Chicago common brick to their Barrel House event space, which was created in partnership with award-winning Chicago chef Stephanie Izard. Meant to evoke the look and feel of a European wine cellar, the 5000 sqft space is adjacent to their barrel aging facility, and houses dozens of barrel-aged beers along the walls. An integrated tasting room and kitchen allows for intimate, seamless food pairings from Izard’s Goat Group Catering.
We adore the way this old-world look was put together by Space Architects, including traditional masonry vaulting and other fine brickwork details.
