New Kimball Arts Center tenant, Ørkenoy Brewery, majorly revamped the back wall of this former Humboldt Park industrial space. Once home to a plastics manufacturer, the building now sits immediately adjacent to the graffiti-decorated walls of the 606.
New LaCantina Doors and a couple of sliding Quaker Windows open the space up to the greenbelt next door, inviting thirsty bikers to drop in.
Check out the gallery for before photos, featuring some seriously grungy glass block. Be sure to drop by soon to see the completed transformation, and taste test their delicious beer, cocktail, and food offerings while you’re at it! Now open daily.
