When Pinstripes first opened in Oak Brook, Illinois, the high-end bistro and entertainment destination featured three outdoor bocce courts on its second floor terrace. Though protected from the rain by a large timber roof, the owners of this ultra-popular wedding & events venue were unable to fully utilize the area in Chicago’s colder months.
That’s where we came in! Once the room was retrofitted with new glass curtain walls, we provided three giant sets of 18-foot wide sliding windows from LaCantina Doors to help open it up. The airy, sunlight-filled space overlooking the first-floor patio was able to maintain its breezy appeal in the summertime — while also gaining a weather-resistant upgrade for the winter.
